Viga Homes is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement.

 

Viga Homes may change this policy from time to time by updating this page. You should check this page to ensure that you are happy with any changes. This policy is effective from July 2024.

 
We may collect the following information:

  • Personal information, details and identifiers such as name, title, addresses, email addresses, phone numbers, family members, details of availability.
  • Marketing preferences including preferred contact methods, property types, locations of interest, developments of interest and incentives of interest.

Direct Marketing

If you choose to note your interest or opt to receive further information on certain properties and/or developments, the information that you submit to us will be stored in our internal computer systems and forwarded to MailChimp who provide us with email marketing services. We consider MailChimp to be a third party data processor.
  • Your information will remain within these databases for marketing until you specifically request removal from the list. You can do this by requesting removal via email to [email protected] or unsubscribing using the unsubscribe links contained in any emails sent via MailChimp.
  • While your contact details remain within our database, you will receive periodic contact from us. We may periodically contact you about new products, special offers or other information which we think you may find interesting using the contact details which you have provided. We may contact you by email, phone, or post.

 

Property Purchases

  • As mentioned above, we will need to process your personal information to facilitate the sale should you decide to purchase one of our properties.
  • We will use your details to contact you, your selling agent, solicitor and financial advisor to ensure the sale progresses smoothly.
  • Personal details, payment and transaction information will also be used when dealing with and carrying out client choices options selected by you in relation to the property.
  • After you have moved in, your details will be used by Viga Homes or our advisors and subcontractors for any matters pertaining to the after-sales procedures.
  • Where applicable, your contact details may be shared with the relevant management company and/or management agent(s).
  • Your details will be kept at least until the completion of the purchase of your new home and the duration of the warranty period.
  • Except for our advisors (for example solicitor, agent, auditor) your details will not be shared or sold to any other parties.
